Ready to build on the basics? Spanish Beginners 2 is designed for children who already have some previous exposure to Spanish and are familiar with foundational vocabulary such as colors, shapes, basic greetings, days of the week, family members, basic animal vocabulary, basic food vocabulary, and basic adjectives.Spanish Beginners 2 is designed for children who have completed an introductory Spanish class or already have a basic foundation in the language.
Students will continue following the Sonrisas Level I curriculum, building upon familiar topics such as greetings, colors, shapes, days of the week, family members, animals, food, and basic adjectives. Through songs, stories, games, movement, art, and hands-on activities, they will reinforce what they have learned while expanding their vocabulary and comprehension.
Students will also begin combining familiar words into useful phrases, responding to simple questions, and expressing ideas such as me gusta and no me gusta. This class provides a supportive next step that helps children communicate with greater confidence while continuing to enjoy the process of learning Spanish.
